1. Elijah Nuttall, son of Brent Nuttall and Sarah Brereton, was born about 1735 in Somerset Or Talbot Co., Maryland and died in 1803 in Fayette Co., KY about age 68.

General Notes: His will was written in Fayette Co., KY on 9 Sep 1796 and probated in 1803. He served with the PA Militia during the Revolutionary War. Was a member of the Third Battalion, Washington Co., PA Militia. He was a private, third class; and is listed on the class roll of Captain William Leets. In 1781, it was listed in the Washington County tax rolls with 400 acres, 3 horses, 4 cattle, and 7 sheep; with a total value of 499. In a list of slave owners in Washington County in 1782 he had 6 slaves in Strabane Township. He resided KY about 1786.

Elijah married Mary Price, daughter of Thomas Taylor Price and Martha Robson, in 1763 in St. Peter's Parish, Talbot Co., Maryland. Mary was born on 1 Aug 1744 in Mill Hundred, Talbot Co., Maryland and died after 1812 in Jessamine, KY.

Martha married Garrard Dement on 30 Oct 1786 in Jefferson Co., KY. Garrard was born on 6 Aug 1760 in Louden Co., VA and died on 9 Apr 1850 in Carroll Co., KY at age 89.

   4 F    iii. Mary Nuttall was born in 1767 in Bullenbroke Hundred, Talbot Co., Maryland and died on 10 Jan 1839 in KY at age 72.

Mary married Jacob Lamb in 1786 in KY. Jacob was born on 19 Mar 1766 in Baltimore Co, MD.

Elizabeth married John Faulker, son of John Faulker and Joyce Craig. John was born in 1754 in Spotsylvania, VA.

+ 7 M    vi. Price Brewington Nuttall was born in 1775 in Strabane Twp., Washington Co., PA, died in 1865 in Honey Creek Twp., Crawford Co., IL at age 90, and was buried in Nuttall Cemetery, Honey Creek Twp., Crawford Co., IL.

+ 8 M    vii. Thomas Nuttall was born in 1776 in Strabane Twp., Washington Co., PA and died on 4 Oct 1822 in Fayette Co., KY at age 46.

   9 F    viii. Rebecca Nuttall was born in 1782 in Strabane Twp., Washington Co., PA and died on 4 Nov 1863 in Jessamine Co., KY at age 81.

Rebecca married John Peniston, son of Anthony Peniston and Elizabeth Poythress, in 1801 in KY. John was born in 1780 in Prince George's Co., VA and died in 1823 at age 43.

   10 F    ix. Susanna Nuttall was born in 1785 in KY and died in 1862 in Jessamine Co., KY at age 77.

Susanna married Moses Walls on 30 Apr 1804 in Fayette Co., KY. Moses was born in 1784.

Nancy married Robert Poythress Peniston on 29 Jan 1810 in Fayette Co., KY.
