QUICK, Louis Carl - Hurley Funeral Home obituary
Louis Carl Quick 1928 - 2010
   Louis Carl Quick, 82, of Chandlerville, formerly of Mackinaw, passed away at 9:25 a.m. at Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville on Monday, December 27, 2010. He was born April 26, 1928 in Mackinaw to L.C. and Wanita May (Jennings) Quick. He married Joan Duckwiler on August 9, 1974 in Chandlerville. She preceded him in death on July 27, 2002.
   Mr. Quick is survived by one grandson, Dylon Beach, whom he raised, two sons, Terry and Tim Quick and one daughter, Erin Beach. Also surviving are two sisters, Shirley Newell and Maxine Billmeyer, both of East Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Louis Carl Quick Jr.
   Mr. Quick served in the US Army from 1950 until 1952. He retired from Hyster Company in Peoria.
   Cremation rites have been accorded and burial will be held at a later date at Chandlerville Cemetery.

Georgia Ann Quigg, June 11, 1935-August 20, 2016
   Georgia Ann Quigg, 81, of Beardstown, died Saturday evening, Aug. 20, 2016, at Heritage Health Nursing Home in Beardstown.
   She was born June 11, 1935, in Morgan County, the daughter of George M. and Bernice Zulauf Quigg.
   She is survived by one brother, Jon Quigg of Springfield; six nieces, Lisa (husband, Chester “Chuck”) Arnold of Virginia, Jonna Quigg of Rockledge, FL, Shelly Quigg of Ashland, Cynthia Bean, Theresa Heinemann and Kimberly Jo Bartels; and two nephews, Michael and Robert Bean. She was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Newbern; and her parents.
   Ann was a CNA at the Beardstown Hospital and did private nursing duty at Walker Nursing Home in Virginia. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
   A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Virginia, with burial at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. The family will meet friends 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Condolences may be left at buchanancody.com.

Helen Jean Quigley, 1927-2007, Beardstown
Helen Jean Quigley, 80, of Beardstown, died Wednesday evening, February 14, 2007, at her residence.
   She was born April 6, 1927, in Beardstown, the daughter of Edward and Grace DeWitt Kiser. She married William R. Quigley on Feb. 24, 1948, in Aurora, and he preceded her in death Jan. 18, 1983.
   She is survived by two sons, John P. (wife, Kathleen) and William Edward (wife, Kathy), both of Beardstown; one daughter, Julie (husband, Rob) Homa of Dundee; seven grandchildren, Wendy (husband, Joe) Blakeman, Rob, (wife, Michele) Quigley and Heather (husband, Jimmy) Fritz, all of Beardstown, Joe (wife, Brie) McClenning of Leander, Texas, Ryan Homa and Robin Homa, both of Dundee and Donrae (husband, Shawn) Hughes of Arenzville; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Richard (wife, Nadeen) Kiser of Westminster, Colo.
   Mrs. Quigley graduated from Beardstown High School with the class of 1945. She was a homemaker and also a dog groomer. She loved her family, her grandkids and her dog, "Baby."
   Graveside funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. today at Beardstown City Cemetery. Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent to [email protected].

Mary E. Quigley, 1918-2006, Beardstown
   Mary E. Quigley, 88, of Beardstown, and formerly of Aurora, died Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 21, 2006, at Heritage Manor South in Beardstown.
   She was born March 28, 1918, in Frederick, the daughter of Michael J. and Mary Elizabeth Clark Swan. She married Raymond W. Quigley and he preceded her in death Dec. 6, 1994.
   She is survived by five grandchildren, Julie (husband, Robert) Homa of Dundee, John (wife, Kathleen) and Ed (wife, Kathy) Quigley, both of Beardstown, Kathy Kemper of Pekin and Mary Christine Quigley of Peoria; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Della Auxier of Easton. She was preceded in death by two stepsons, Bill and Joe Quigley; and several brothers and sisters.
   Mrs. Quigley worked at Kroger's in Aurora for a number of years and then at Elmwood Nursing Home in Aurora until her retirement.
   Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown. Condolences may be sent to [email protected].
