Albert Hendricker 1917 - 2008 BEARDSTOWN
   Albert R Hendricker, 91, a resident of Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Mount Sterling, and formerly of Beardstown, passed away at 8:08 p.m. Friday, Oct.10, 2008, at the nursing home.
   He was born Jan. 23, 1917, near Bluff Springs, the son of Rudolph Wesley and Elizabeth Marguerite Ring Hendricker. He married Fern Eleanor Iockisch in 1938, and she preceded him in death Nov. 16, 1942. He later married Velma Dyche on May 5, 1943, in Beardstown, and she preceded him in death Jan. 27, 2002.
   Albert was a retired farmer and had attended Krohe School in Cass County. Mr. Hendricker was a member of the Bethel Church of the Nazarene in Cass County. Albert always enjoyed raising watermelons, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and making homemade ice cream and red velvet cakes for his grandchildren's birthday parties.
   Survivors include two children, Kallie Hendricker and his wife Susan of Mount Sterling and Dorothy Hetrick and her husband Bill of Beardstown; seven grandchildren, Kelly Rosback of Chaska, Minn., Jason, Jamie and Mike Hendricker, all of Mount Sterling, Todd Hetrick of Clayton, Shelly Morrill of Payson and Misty Hetrick of Mount Sterling; 12 greatgrandchildren, Andy and Ryan Rosback, Emily, Joseph, Nicholas and Nathan Henclricker, Matthew Morrill, Samuel, T.W, Ashley and Logan Hetrick and Joseph Dunn; one brother, Charles Hendricker, and one sister, Helene Sue Hendricker, both of Arenzville also survive along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Grace Elizabeth Henclricker in infancy; three brothers, Herman, Harvey and Orville Hendricker; and two sisters, Marie Hendricker and Christine Iockisch,
   Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Hendricker Funeral Home in Mount Sterling. Graveside services will then be at Iockisch Cemetery in Cass County at 2 p.m. Friday. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends may also call from 8 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Hendricker Former Resident Dies at Tullula
   Mrs. Anna Ring Hendricker, 77, of Tullula, passed away at 4:45 p.m. Sunday at her residence.
   Mrs. Hendricker was reared in the Monroe Community west of this city.
   Surviving is one son, Robert of Petersburg: six sisters, Mrs. Helen Nelson, Tullula: Mrs R. W. Hendricker of Beardstown: Mrs. Martha Meyer and Mrs. Rose Meyer of Jacksonville: Mrs. Ralph (Amanda) Launer route 3, Virginia and Mrs Liddie Menge of Virginia: four brothers, Carl and Henry Ring of Ashland, Wm. Ring of route 1 and Chris Ring of Missouri, also seven grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hensley-Davis funeral Home at Pleasant Plains. Burial was made in City Cemetery at Beardstown.

Funeral Services Will Be Held Saturday
   Charles F. Hendricker, aged 93, years, well known retired Cass County farmer who has made his home near this city all his lifetime died at his home three miles south of Bluff Springs at 2:25 o'clock yesterday afternoon after a weeks illness.
   Mr. Hendricker had been in failing health for the past several years but has been confined to his bed only since last Friday.
   The body was taken to the Simpson Funeral home and services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Beardstown Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. E. O. Chalfant of Danville will be in charge of services. Burial will be made in the Jockisch cemetery.
   Charles F. Hendricker, son of Frederick and Elizabeth Kuhl Hendricker, was born June 14th, 1850 and was 93 years, seven months and five days of age at the time of his death. He was united in marriage to Sophia Amelia Jockisch on September 21, 1875. She preceded him in death on May 10th, 1927.
   The deceased is survived by the following children. Mrs. George Eades, Tullula, Mrs Felix Krohe, Arenzville, Henry, Arenzville, Rudolph, Beardstown, Mrs. Hattie Larsen, Mrs. Julia Roat, Mrs. Lydia Roat, of Havana and Miss Bessie Hendricker at home. He is also survived by 48 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Four children Franklin Charles, Arthur, Sarah, and Elmer preceded him in death.
   Mr. Hendricker was a member of the Bethel church of the Nazarene.

Elizabeth Hendricker Services Set
    Funeral services for Elizabeth Margurite (Ring) Hendricker of R. R. 1, Beardstown, have been set for 2 p. m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church near Arenzville. The Rev. G. A. Saathoff will officiate.
    The body will lie in state one hour prior to services in the church. Burial in the Beardstown City Cemetery will follow services.
    Friends may call from 2 to 9 p. m. today at Northcutt Funeral Home. Family will be with friends from 7 to 9 p. m.
    A housewife, Mrs. Hendricker, 81, died at 3:20 a. m. Wednesday at Culbertson Hospital in Rushville.
    She was born Jan. 14, 1896 in Morgan County, the daughter of Carl Frederick and Anna Marie (Loser) Ring. She attended Monroe School in Cass County and married Rudolph Wesley Hendricker march 18, 1914 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Her husband preceded her in death May 2, 1972.
    Survivors include three daughters; Mrs. Clyde (Christine) Jockisch of Rushville and Marie and Helen Sue, both of Beardstown; five sons, Albert of Beardstown, Orville of Clifton Hill Mo., Herman of Shelbyville, Mo., Harvey of Lakeland, Fla. and Charles of Arenzville; two brothers Bill Ring of Virginia and Christian Ring of Paris, Mo.; two sisters, Rose Meyer of Arenzville and Martha Meyer of Jacksonville; 24 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and husband, were two brothers, six sisters, one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter
    Memorials may be made to the Kemmerer Village (a home for children), St. Peter's Church or the American Cancer Society.

Ashland Farmer Dies Saturday
    Elmer A. Hendricker, farmer residing southwest of Ashland died at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning at St. John's hospital in Springfield. He had been ill with pneumonia for ten days.
   Mr. Hendricker waa born in Virginia in 1886, a son of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Hendricker, now of Bluff Springs. He was united in marriage when a young man to Miss Anna Ring.
   Surviving are his wife: one son Robert: his parents: two brothers six sisters, Henry and Roudolph Hendricker of Bluff Springs community; Mrs. Harriett Larson, Mrs. Ida Krohe, Lydia Roat and JuJia Roat of Bluff Springs; Mrs George Eades, Tallula Miss Bessie Hendricker at home.

Death Claims Mrs. Albert Hendricker
   A sudden illness, the nature of which was not immediately determined, proved fatal in the course of a few hours for Mrs. Albert Hendricker, young farm mother, who died shortly before noon today at her home four miles from this city on the boulevard road. She became ill last night. The body was removed to the Cline funeral home to be prepared for burial, but arrangements for the services are incomplete.
    Fern Jockisch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Jockisch, was born November 13, 1917 near this city and always resided in this vicinity.
   She is survived by her husband, a son Kallie Elmer who will be two years old in January, three sisters Mrs Dollie Krohe and Mrs. Viola Wankel of near this city, Miss Irene Jockisch at home, and two brothers, Clyde and Clifford Jockisch also of near Beardstown.

Hendricker Infant Dies At Home Near Here
Funeral Will Be Held Tomorrow Afternoon
   Grace Elizabeth, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hendricker of near this city, died at her home at 4:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The child was one week old. The body was taken to the Cline Funeral Home.
   Funeral services will be held at the Bethel Nazarene church near Bluff Springs at 2:15 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in the Jockisch cemetery.
   The decedent is survived by her parents, her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Hendricker and Mr. and Mrs. George Jockisch and four great-grandparents. Mrs Chris Jockisch. Charles Hendricker and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Grant.
   Mrs. Albert Hendricker. the child's mother, was formerly Miss Fern Jockisch.

Harold Allen Hendricker, 1922-2008, Arenzville
   Harold Allen Hendricker, 86, of rural Arenzville, died Wednesday morning, April 23, 2008, at his residence.
   He was born Jan. 7, 1922, in rural Arenzville, the son of Henry and Mathilda Krohe Hendricker. He married Margaret Eileen Coil on March 24, 1948, at Beardstown Church of the Nazarene, and she survives.
   He is also survived by one son, Roger (wife, Edith) of rural Arenzville; three daughters, Barbara (husband Dennis) Uhles of Ava, Mo., Donna (husband, James) Krohe of Duluth, Ga., and Rebecca (husband Kenneth) Cox of Beardstown; seven grandchildren, Joy (husband, Shannon) Pruiett, Donna (husband, David) Wallner, Gene (wife, Kelly) Powell, Michael (wife, Chris) Powell, Jennifer (husband, Ryan) Alspach, Justin Krohe and Clarissa Cox; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Irvin (wife, Aline) of Beardstown; and three sisters, Ada Bennett of Griggsville, Bertha (husband, Ralph) Wankel of Beardstown and Vera (husband, Clavin) Johnson of Jacksonville. He was preceded in death by one son in infancy; four sisters, Myrtle Carls, Phyllis Crocker, Rosa Edge and Mabel in infancy; and three brothers, Homer and Ralph and Lewis in infancy.
   Mr. Hendricker attended Krohe School in Arenzville Township. He served in the 96th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army during World War II in the Philipines. After his honorable discharge in the 1946, he managed and farmed the family farm in rural Arenzville. He was a member of Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene in rural Arenzville.
   Funeral services will be held 2:30 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene in rural Arenzville, with burial at Beardstown City Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown. Memorials are suggested to Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene. Harvey E. Hendricker October 27, 1927 - March 17, 1997
   Harvey E. Hendricker, 69, of Edina, Missouri, and formerly of Memphis, Missouri, and Beardstown, died early Monday morning, March 17, at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
   Mr. Hendricker was born October 27, 1927 in Beardstown, the son of Rudolph Wesley and Elizabeth Ring Hendricker. He married Helen Elaine Canatsey on July 17, 1948, in Illinois, and to this union three children were born Jan Arline, Sandra Kay and Constance Marie.
   Harvey moved to the Memphis area in 1958 where he raised his family. In the late 1970's he moved to Lakeland, Florida, where he worked as a realtor for almost 20 years. In 1996 Harvey returned to Missouri due to failing health and to be closer to his family.
   Mr. Hendricker was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Marie Hendricker and Christine Jockisch; one brother, Herman Hendricker; and one granddaughter.
   Surviving are his three daughters, Mrs. Jan Slayton and her husband, Edward, of Downing, Missouri, Mrs. Sandra Blake and her husband, Bill, of Memphis, Missouri, and Mrs. Connie Sargent and her husband, Eric, of Burlington, Iowa; one sister, Helen Sue Hendricker of Arenzville; three brothers, Albert Hendricker of Beardstown, Orville Hendricker of Clifton Hill, Missouri, and Charles Hendricker of Arenzville. Five grandchildren and three great-grand-chlldren also survive, along with his ex-wife, Helen Cary of Bloomfield, Iowa.
   Funeral services were held Thursday, March 20, at the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis, with the Rev. John Squires officiating. Graveside services were held at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Arenzville.

   Henry Hendricker, 83, a retired farmer of the Beardstown-Arenzville Community passed away early this morning at Schmitt Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks.
   Mr. Hendricker was born on March 1, 1884, the son of Charles and Sophia Jockisch Hendricker.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Ralph and 2 children in infancy.
   He is survived by: his wife, Tillie; six daughters, Mrs. Arthur "Myrtle" Carls, of Beardstown, Mrs. Raymond "Rose" Edge of Chandlerville, Mrs. Frank "Ada" Bennett of Griggsville, Mrs. Ben "Phyllis" Crocker, of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Ralph "Bertha" Wankel of Beardstown. Mrs. Calvin "Vera" Johnson of Salinas, Calfornia; three sons. Homer Hendricker of Beardstown, Irvin Hendricker of Beardstown, Harold Hendricker of Arenzville; 36 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; four sisters, Bessie Hendricker, Mrs. Hattie Larson, Mrs. Julia Roat, Mrs. Lydia Roat all of Havana; and 1 brother, R.W. Hendricker of Beardstown.
   Funeral services will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene in Beardstown on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with visitation at the Cline Funeral Home from 7 til 9 p.m. on Saturday evening. Anyone wishing to donate may do so to the Bethel Nazarene Church Fund or the Schmitt Memorial Hospital Fund. Burial will be in the City cemetery.

   Herman H. Hendricker, 55, of rural Shelbyville, Mo., formerly of the Beardstown - Arenzville area, was killed at 8:30 a.m. March 13 following a farm accident.
   He had farmed in the Shelbyville area for 21 years.
   Born May 8, 1922 near Beardstown, he was the son of Rudolph and Elizabeth Ring Hendricker. He married Myrtle Long March 24, 1946 in Beardstown.
   Hendricker attended Cass County schools and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville.
   Survivors include his wife; two children, Gordon of Shelbyville and Mrs. Glen (Joyce) Minks of Shelbyville; four brothers, Albert of Beardstown, Orville of Clifton Hill, Mo., Harvey of Lakeland, Fla. and Charles of Arenzville; three sisters, Marie Hendricker and Helen Sue Hendricker, both of Beardstown and Mrs. Clyde (Christine) Jockisch of Rushville; and several nieces and nephews.
   Services were held at 11 a.m. March 16 at the First United Methodist Church in Shelbyville with the Rev. Albert Gibbs officiating.

Louise Hendricker April 10, 1916-April 29, 1997
   Louise Hendricker, 81, rural Beardstown, died Tuesday morning, April 29, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
   She was born April 10, 1916, in Rushville, the daughter of Glen and Dorothy Vancil Goodwin. She married Homer Hendricker April 23, 1936 in Rushville. He preceded her in death November 6,1991.
   Surviving are two sons, Larry Hendricker (wife Janet) of Decatur and Mike Hendricker (wife Dorothy) of rural Beardstown; four daughters, Betty Combest of Rantoul, Mrs. Byron (Rosalind) White of Marquand, Missouri, Marsha Owens of Farmington, Missouri, and Mrs. Brian (Sherry) Ralston of Beardstown; three brothers, Lyle Goodwin of Arlington Heights, Leland Goodwin of Cuba, Illinois, and Lester Goodwin of Rushville; two sisters, Margie Bunfill of Mesa, Arizona, and Marialene Brobeck of Tucson, Arizona; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter in infancy, and one brother, Virgil.
   She graduated from Rushville High School in the class of 1934. She was a member of Bethel Church of the Nazarene as well as teaching Sunday School there for several years. She was also a member of The Friendly Circle and Cass County Home Extension. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening.
   Funeral services were held Friday, May 2, at the Bethel Church of the Nazarene in rural Arenzville with the Rev. Neal Kellam and the Rev. Cecil Carroll officiating.
   Organist Mrs. N. Edith Somppi played selected hymns and accompanied vocalist Jeff Hendricker as he sang several songs. Selections included "What a Friend We Have in Jesus, ''Under His Wings," "Where the Roses Never Face," and "Savior, More Than Life. Mr. Hendricker also sang "The Lord Is My Shepherd," at the graveside.
   Honorary pallbearers were Clint Hendricker, Jeff Hendricker, Aaron Ralston and John Holt.
   Pallbearers were Derek Hendricker, Ryan Hendricker, Greg Hendricker, Nathan Ralston, Steve Combest, Jason Ralston, Richard White and Rod Combest.
   Burial was in the Beardstown City Cemetery.
   Memorials have been suggested to the Bethel Church of the Nazarene.
   Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown was in charge of arrangements.

Margaret Eileen Hendricker 1921- 2009 Arenzville
   Margaret Eileen Hendricker, 88, of Arenzville passed away early Tuesday morning, June 23, 2009, at her residence.
   She was born on Jan. 25, 1921, in Bluff Springs, the daughter of Clay C. and Nellie M. Brown Coil. Margaret married Harold Allen Hendricker on March 24, 1948, at Beardstown Church of the Nazarene, and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2008.
   Mrs. Hendricker is survived by one son, Roger A (wife, Edith) Hendricker of Arenzville; three daughters, Barbara L. (husband, Dennis) Uhles of Ava, Mo., Donna D. (husband, James) Krohe of Houston and Rebecca J. (husband, Kenneth) Cox of Beardstown; two brothers, Donald E. Coil of Springfield and William H. Coil of Lapalma, Calif.; one sister, Dorothy N. Simmons of Bluff Springs; seven grandchildren, Joy (husband, Shannon) Pruiett, Donna (husband, David) Wallner, Gene (wife, Kelly) Powell, Michael (wife, Chris) Powell, Jennifer (husband, Ryan) Alspach, Justin Krohe and Clarissa Cox; as well as nine great-grandchildren, April (husband, Lance) Wallis, Michael and Heidi Wallner, Tareyn and Faelyn Powell, Sierra Brummett, Allen Clark and Bryce and Malea Pruiett. She was preceded in death by an infant son in 1957; a sister, Betty Kiser; and a brother, Homer C. Coil.
   Margaret attended Bluff Springs School and graduated from Beardstown High School in 1938. She then worked at Bridge Cafe, did housework at retired railroader's home, worked at Logan Myer Grocery Store and Wells-Lamont Glove Factory, then became a homemaker after her marriage to Harold, where she was very dedicated to her family which she loved dearly. Mrs. Hendricker was a member of Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene in rural Arenzville.
   Funeral services will be held on Saturday at Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene in Arenzville at 10 a.m., with burial following at Beardstown City Cemetery. The family will meet friends Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene.

   Marie S. Hendricker, 75, of R.R. 3 Beardstown died Monday, December 17, 1990. at her home.
   She was born February 15 1915. near Beardstown a daughter of Rudolph Wesley and Elizabeth Margaret Ring Hendricker.
   She is survived by four brothers, Albert of Beardstown, Orville of Clifton Hill, Mo., Harvey of Lakeland, Fla., and Charles of Arenzville; one sister, Helene Sue Hendricker of rural Beardstown; and many nieces. nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by one brother, Herman, and one sister, Christine Jockisch.
   She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church near Arenzville for over 50 years. In her younger years she attended Krohe School near Bluff Springs.
   Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 20 in St. Peter's Lutheran Church near Arenzville with the Rev. S John Roth officiating. Burial was on family lot of Beardstown City Cemetery.
   Serving as vocalist were Karen Nobis, Kathy Hull, Richard Hendricker and Wes Hendricker accompanied at the organ by Bernita Edwards.
   Serving as Pallbearers were Dale Hendricker, Richie Rader, Wes Hendricker, Mike Hendricker, James J. Hendricker, James Lauderback, Richard Hendricker and Jim Bess.
   Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling was in charge of arrangements.

HENDRICKER, Mary J. - October 21, 1918 - November 10, 2009
Mary J Hendricker, 91, of Clifton Hill, MO died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Moberly Nursing and Rehab. She had been in failing health.
   Mrs. Hendricker was born October 21, 1918 near Beardstown in the Black Oak community, a daughter of Charles Greenberry and Cornelia Madora (Koester) Tucker. She was a homemaker and was a member of Clifton Hill First Baptist Church.
    She married Orville Hendricker on March 18, 1941 in Palmyra, MO. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2007. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter Mary Margaret Harris, brothers, Howard, John and Raymond Tucker and a sister Helen Davis.
   Survivors include her children Hazel Ann & husband Bob Gibson of Greely, Colorado, Fern & husband Wayne Bess of St. Charles, MO, Elmer Hendricker of St. Louis, MO, Lois & husband Dennis Shirk of Vienna, MO, Dale Hendricker of Clifton Hill, MO, several granchildren, several great-grandchildren, sister Hazel Rathman of Cherokee Village, AR, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Services will be Friday November 13, 2009 at 1:30 PM in the Clifton Hill First Baptist Church. Services will then be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 14, 2009 in the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling. Interment will be in the Beardstown Cemetery. MATHILDA HENDRICKER
   Mathilda L. Hendricker, 93, Rural Route I, Arenzville, died Oct. 9, 1980, at Beardstown Hospital.
   Mrs. Hendricker was born in Cass County April 9, 1887, daughter of Henry and Christina Menge Krohe. She married Henry Hendricker near Bluff Springs Dec. 18, 1907, and he died Nov. 9, 1967.
   Survivors include three sons, Homer and Irvin, both of Beardstown, and Harold, Arenzville; six daughters: Mrs. Arthur (Myrtle) Carls and Mrs. Ralph (Bertha) Wankle, both of Beardstown; Mrs. Raymond (Rosa) Edge, Chandlerville; Mrs. Frank (Ada) Bennett, Griggsville; Mrs. Benniet (Phyllis) Crocker, Plymouth, Mich.; and Mrs. Calvin (Vera) Johnson, Salinas, Calif.; 36 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by four sisters, a brother, two sons and a daughter.
   Mrs. Hendricker was a member of Bethel Church of the Nazarene and was a charter member of the Friendly Circle Club.
   Services were Oct. 12 at Beardstown Church of the Nazarene. Burial was in Beardstown City Cemetery.
   Memorials are suggested to Bethel Church of the Nazarene.
