Bluff Springs, is a native of this-county, born in Monroe Precinct in 1857; son of Isaac and Susan (Leschy) Hagerman; natives of Pennsylvania; he, a farmer by occupation, born in 1809, died in Monroe Precinct in 1873; she, born in 1813, is still living; of their eight children, A. L. is the seventh child. He received his education in the schools of his native precinct, and has since followed farming. He is a Republican.
