DILLEY, insurance; Beardstown; was born in Columbiana County, O., Sept. 3, 1828, and was raised near Warren, Ohio, where, at the age of eighteen, he apprenticed to the harness-maker's trade, at which he worked there till 1850. In the fall of that year he came to this county; lived for a time east of Virginia, then moved into that town, where he worked at his trade till 1853; afterward engaged in farming for about three years. In 1858 he came to Beardstown, where he worked at his trade a year, and in the fall of 1859 was elected County Treasurer of this county, which position he held twelve years. Since 1870 he has been engaged in the insurance business. In June, 1853, he married Melvina Hall, of Virginia, Ill. Dilley Hall = Columbiana-OH
