Alliance Chapter Projects — Cemetery Transcription - Welles
Welles
Welles Cemetery is located on County Road 2600 East, near Penfield, Illinois
Three members of Alliance Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution took it upon themselves to record the stones located in Welles Cemetery. These ladies are: Lavon Cler (who spearheaded the project), Margaret Paul, and Michal McPheters (who took the photos). Celia Snyder was a later addition to the project team when she volunteered to place the data on-line.
