     Tuesday in Caldwell for
             W. H. Lawrence

William Henry Lawrence, 75, died at his home in the Brier rose community Sunday noon.  funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist church in Caldwell with the Rev. A. B. Parrett officiating.  Interment will be in the Canyon Hill cemetery.
     Mr. Lawrence was born November 28, 1857 in Kokomo, Ind.  He was a graduate of the Keokuk medical college at Keokuk, Iowa, and followed that profession for many years.  He was married to Miss Sarah Alice Musgrave of Moravia, Iowa, March 5, 1885.  When still a young man, Mr. Lawrence united with the First Methodist Episcopal church and served many years as Sunday school superintendent for that church.
     In 1920 Mr. Lawrence moved with his family to a farm in the Brier Bose community and made his home there until the time of his death.
     He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Grace Hood of Caldwell; five sons, Mark, Ancil, Melvin and Victor Lawrence of Caldwell and Lynn Lawrence of Salt Lake City, Utah; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild, and a brother, Charles E. Lawrence of Magnet, Arkansas.
