William Boles

     William Everett Boles, 73, of Caldwell, died Monday, April 16, 1990, at home of natural causes.
     Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the Lower Boise Cemetery, near Parma.  The Rev. Ray Thompson of the United Methodist Church, Caldwell, will officiate.  Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
     Mr. Boles was born July 9, 1916, at Payette, a son of Leslie J. and Mary Witherow Boles.  He was reared and educated in the Payette area and graduated from the Payette high school.  He married Vivian Hanson Oct. 12, 1940.  He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps. during World War II, where he worked on Harley-Davidson motorcycles, doing mail and other official runs.  Following his military service, he worked as a beekeeper for several years in the Payette and New Plymouth area.  He married Mary R. Taylor Hutchison July 9, 1971, at Caldwell.  He later retired from the J.R. Simplot Co.
     Survivors include his wife, Mary of Caldwell; two sons, William of NAS, Whitby Island, And Byron of Boise;  three stepsons, Sam, Marvin and Kelvin Hutchison, all of Caldwell;  three daughters, Kathleen Novack of Sacramento, Calif., Karen Chinn of Moscow and Sharon Ackerman of Boise;  a stepdaughter, Dana Healy of Caldwell;  a brother, Robert of Modesto, Calif.;  two sisters, Dorothy Hosford of Newbury Park, Calif., and Mary Ferguson of Boise;  11 grandchildren;  and several nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
     Friends may call Thursday from 1 until 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until noon at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
