Passes Away

Mrs. Sarah Milliner,
78-year-old pioneer of Caldwell, passed away Wednesday morning
at a local hospital following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held from the Presbyterian church at
10 o'clock Saturday morning with the Rev. W. J. Boone
officiating. Interment will be made in the Canyon Hill
cemetery.
Mrs. Milliner came to Caldwell in 1901 with her husband
and family and located on a ranch in the Marble Front
district. She continued to live there until her last
illness. She took an active interest in the development
of the community and was an active member of the Good Cheer
club, which she helped organize.
Her husband died six years ago. She is survived
by five sons, G. W., Charles, Robert and Arthur, all of
Caldwell, and Ted of Boise; one daughter, Mrs. W. G. Imus of
Kalama, Wash.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. |
