Roma K. Burris, 77, of Caldwell, died Monday, Nov. 13, 1989, in a Caldwell nursing home of natural causes. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, in the Middleton Cemetery. The Rev. Lee Baker of the First United Methodist Church, Middleton, will officiate under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
Roma was born Nov. 2, 1912, in Middleton, the daughter of William and Grace Rutledge Robinson. She was married to Joseph Fattig from 1932 through 1958.
She is survived by three daughters, Lena Black of Reno, Nev., Rita Kelleg of Gardnerville, Nev., and Joy Manion of McCall; a sister, Shirley Clabo of Caldwell; a brother, L.C. “Hup” Robinson of Quincy, Wash.; 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Delno Robinson. |
