Mrs. William
Kinkaid Dies.
Mourned by a Host of Friends
_____ |
Caldwell, Jan. 19.
-- Mrs. Rhoda F. Kinkaid passed away from this life last
evening. The cause of her death is supposed to be
pneumonia.
She was the wife of our fellow townsman, William Kinkaid, and
was universally loved and respected. Deceased was 47 years
of age, and had lived here long before the foundations of
the city were laid, and her friends have increased with the
years.
She leaves a husband and two children to mourn her
loss, besides a host of friends. Mrs. Kinkaid was an
earnest Christian woman, and her deeds of kindness and mercy
are legion.
The funeral occurred today from the Christian
church, and was held under the auspices of the Odd Fellows,
of which order Mr. Kinkaid is a member. Her remains were
interred in the Canyon Hill cemetery. Rev. W. J. Boone
preached the funeral sermon.
