                           __________

WILDER  (Special) - The M. E. church in Wilder was filled with friends when on Tuesday afternoon funeral services were held for Mrs. Minerva Jane Hudson, 83, who passed away on Sunday morning at the Memorial Park hospital in Caldwell following a short illness.
Dr. H. H. Hayman of Caldwell had charge of the service and a quartet composed of Mesdames G. C. Twitchell, L. F. Kowalk, Grace Saunders and Gene Smith sang.
Minerva Jane Gilmore was born on July 11, 1851.  On October 5, 1877, she was untied in marriage with Orlando Hudson and to them were born four sons, Albert E. (deceased) Louie L., Arthur G. of Wilder and George E. of Boise.
Mrs. Hudson's entire life was that of a pioneer.  Following her girlhood days she left Effingham, Ill., in a covered wagon for Hasting, Neb.  On October 28, 1898, the family came to Roswell and in 1907 they moved to Wilder where they have since lived.
Mrs. Hudson was laid at rest in the Wilder cemetery beside her husband, who passed away on July 31, 1928.
