Lolita Collins

     Graveside services for Lolita Watson Collins, 74, of 2077 S. Atlantic, Boise, who died Saturday, Oct. 8, in a local nursing home of natural causes, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Wilder Cemetery under the direction of Relyea Funeral Chapel, Boise.
     Bishop George Hobson of the Boise Eighth Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate.
     She was born June 22, 1909, in Hymera, Ind., to Jesse W. and Sarah (Vanderpool) Watson.  The family moved to Idaho and settled in the Greenleaf area while she was a small child.  They later moved to California, where she graduated from Burbank High School.
     She met and married Arthur L. Smith in 1927.  Following their marriage, they lived in Caldwell, where she was a homemaker.  In 1936, she worked as a waitress and cook in the Caldwell area.   She married William Ernst Collins in 1940, and they resided in the Caldwell, Homedale and Wilder areas.  In 1968, she moved to the Boise area, where she had resided until her death.
     She is survived by a son, Merlin F. Smith of Olympia, Wash.; a daughter, Phyllis Jones of Boise; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Phillip Watson of Corvallis, Ore., and Rollin Watson of Beaverton, Ore.; two sisters, Rosamond Plowhead and Betty Brown, both of Mesa, Ariz.; a stepson, Leo Collins of Bakersfield, Calif.; and a stepdaughter, Anna Marie Stetler of Portland, Ore.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, her husband and a stepson.
     Friends may call at the Relyea Funeral Chapel until 8:30 tonight and on Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
