Services for Leona B. Bryan, 94, of Fruitland, who died Wednesday, Dec. 17, in a Payette nursing home, will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, at the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Fruitland. The Rev. Earl Traughber of the Fruitland Church of the Bretheren will officiate. Burial will follow at 3 p.m., Monday, in Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. Mrs. Bryan, a homemaker, was born July 20, 1892, at Harris, Mo., a daughter, of Lewis and Rosella Wise. She was reared and educated in Missouri and moved to Iowa with her parents. She married Franklin Otto June 19, 1917, at Baird, Iowa. They moved to Texas, then to Idaho in 1941. Her husband died in 1950. She then married Alden J. Bryan Sept. 27, 1955, at Caldwell. In 1957 the moved to NuAcres, then to Fruitland in 1972. She was a member of the Caldwell First United Methodist Church, and the NuAcres Farmettes. She is survived by three sons, Crawford Otto of Parma, John Otto of Fruitland and Thomas Otto of McCall; three daughters, Dollie Alison and Edith Mell, both of Fruitland, and Frances Libby of Federal Way, Wash.; three stepdaughters, Glenna Lipsky of Watsonville, Calif., Irene Blevins of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Jessie Fogle of Ontario, Calif.; a brother, Jim Wise of Boise; a sister Lois Robertson of Caldwell; numerous grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons and two daughters. Friends may call today until 9 p.m. at the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel in Fruitland. |
