Johnny Johnson, 69, Dies Wednesday at Star; Here
Since '63

     J. P. Johnson, one of the early pioneers of Caldwell, passed away at the home of his sister, Mrs. Minnie Thompson of Star Wednesday evening at the age of 69 years.
     Mr. Johnson was born in Missouri April 11, 1862.  He came to Idaho with his parents in 1863 and has been a resident of this community since that time, with farming as his occupation.  Mr. Johnson was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge.  Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Odd Fellows temple.  The body is at the Case funeral home.
     Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ida Johnson; two sisters, Mrs. Thompson of Star and Mrs. Lida Isham of Caldwell; one son John, Jr., of California, and a daughter who lives in the east.
