James M. Judd
Dies At Home
Sunday A. M.


     James Madison Judd, 84, who came to Caldwell 24 years ago, died at his home 2315 Michigan avenue, Sunday morning.
     He was born in Iowa, Sept. 7, 1858 ad grew up there.  He lived at Colman, S. D. until 1904 and from there moved to Montana and came from Parma to Caldwell in 1918.  He was a well-driller by trade.  He was a member of the Caldwell Seventh Day Adventist church.
     Survivors include two sons, James Walter Judd of Oakland, Cal., and C. D. Judd of Parma; a daughter, Mrs. Lydia Cress of Caldwell; two brothers, Warren Judd of Bryant, S. D., and Charley Judd of College Place, Wash.; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Dillon and Mrs. Lillian Palmer both of Glendale, Calif., and Mrs. Luella Dunlap of Billings, Mont.; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
     Services will be held at the Peckham chapel Tuesday at 2:30 p. m.  Burial will be in Canyon Hill cemetery.
