Services will be held
at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel for
James F. McIntyre, 84, of 808 Maple St., who died yesterday in
a local hospital. The Rev. Clare Willcuts and the Rev.
Robert Morris will officiate.
Mr. McIntyre, a retired farmer was born in Greensboro,
N.C. and moved to South Dakota when a child, coming to Idaho
in 1890. He lived in the Boise and the Franklin area
until his marriage here March 2, 1903, to Mabel McClain.
He farmed in the Dixie area until 1911 when he homesteaded in
the Riverside area, retiring in 1948 and moving to Nampa.
He attended the Friends church and was a charter member of the
(?) Friends church. Mrs. (McIntyre) died in 1947.
Survivors include five (daughters), Velma McIntyre,
Nampa, (?) Johnnson, Marsing, Mrs. Margaret Forrey and Mrs.
Joy Tarp, both of Boise, and Mrs. May Hill, Caldwell; five
sons, Frank, Henry and Robert, all of Caldwell, Ros of
Chiliquin, Ore., and Wendell McIntyre, Gooding; 41
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great
grandchild.
Interment will be in Canyon Hill. |
