Homer Allen

     Memorial services for Homer L. Allen, 72, Parma Route 1, who died Saturday, Dec. 4, at a Caldwell hospital of natural causes, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Sterry Memorial Presbyterian Church in Roswell with the pastor, the Rev. William Wartes, officiating, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel.
     He was born Feb. 15, 1910, in Roswell, to Bertha and Clint Allen.  He attended Roswell grade and high school, where he was active in athletics.  He married Lucille Sayre Aug. 9, 1932, in Roswell.  He farmed all his married life in the Roswell area, retiring in 1967.  He was an elder and member of the Sterry Memorial Presbyterian Church, Roswell, and the Masonic Lodge of Parma.
     He is survived by his wife of Parma, a son, Ed, of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Sandra Bartles of Homedale; two grandsons and one grenddaughter.
     Friends may call at the chapel in Caldwell today from 6 to 9 p.m.
     Memorials may be made to the Sterry Memorial Presbyterian Church or to a favorite charity.
