Date of funeral services for Mrs. Harriet Helen Stewart, 44, wife of R. E. Stewart of Caldwell was incomplete today at the Peckham chapel until word is received from a son in the Panama Canal Zone. Burial will be in the Wilder cemetery with the Rev. W. W. Stuchbery in charge. Born in Clowd (sic-Cloud) County, Kas., Feb. 18, 1898, Mrs. Stewart died at the family home, 208 Elgin street, Monday morning. She spent her early life in Kansas and was married to R. E. Stewart at Minneapolis, Ka., in 1914. The family came to Idaho in 1934. Survivors besides her husband are two sons, Elbert Edward Stewart, who resides in California; Donald Victor Stewart, now located in the Panama Canal Zone; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Beers, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Mabel Bartlett, Scotts Bluff, Neb.; five brothers, Willard Martin, Paradise, Kas.; Walter Martin, Harlin, Kas.; James P. Martin, Lincoln, Neb.; Theodore Martin, Wilder; Jess T. Martin, Caldwell; one grandchild. |
