Funeral Rites For G. T. Gritton Held At Roswell Today |

Funeral services were held at the Roswell Presbyterian church at 2:30 p. m. today for George Thomas Gritton, 72, Parma Farmer, who died in a Caldwell hospital Saturday night. The Rev. H. C. Bailey of Roswell officiated and interment was in the Roswell cemetery under supervision of the Peckham funeral directors. He was born in Kentucky April 17, 1870, and had resided in the Roswell community for 26 years, but was a resident of Parma Route 3 at the time of his death. Survivors include his widow, Eva Gritton, Parma; a son, H. A. Gritton, Enterprise, Ore.; a daughter, Lucille Rowlett, Boise; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah James, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Maude Mahan, Texas; a brother, Lee Gritton, Indiana, and six grandchildren. |
