Allen Funeral Is
   Planned Tuesday

   Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Allen, wife of Clark Allen, who died Saturday morning at her home at Wilder following an extended illness, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist church at Wilder.  The Rev. Herr will officiate.
   The deceased is survived by her husband, two sons, Everett and Harley Allen, both of Wilder and a daughter, Ethel of Seattle.

Funeral Services
 for Wilder Woman
  are Held Tuesday

   WILDER - Funeral services for Mrs. Clark Allen were held on Tuesday afternoon in the Wilder M. E. church with the Rev. Julius E. Herr, pastor of the Baptist church officiating and the Rev. Kenneth Chubb, pastor of the M. E. church assisting.
   The church was filled with relatives and friends and the many beautiful flowers were mute evidence of love and sympathy.  A quartet composed of Mrs. Gilbert McCormick, Mrs. Alice Grosvenor, Elton McCormick and Dan Stephens sang and Mrs. McCormick sang a solo.  The pall bearers were Mr. Allen's brothers, Claude, Clint and Roy Allen and their sons.  Burial was in the Wilder cemetery.
   Gerturde Mary Allen was born at Woodriver, Neb., June 23, 1892 and passed away on March 9, 1935 at the age of 42, 8 months and 14 days following an illness which caused intense suffering for nearly a year.
   She grew to womanhood at the family home in Nebraska, then following a period of training she was a nurse for five years at the state hospital in Ingleside, Neb., and for seven years in the Salem, Ore. state hospital.
   On September 30, 1930, she was united in marriage with Clark Allen of Wilder where they have since made their home.
   Surviving are the husband, a step-daughter, Ethel Allen of Seattle, Wash., two step sons, Harley and Everett Allen of Wilder, four sisters, Mrs. Clara Platt of Willims, Cal.;  Mrs. Ethel Rider of Hastings, Neb.;  Mrs. Leo Hebda of Grang(sic) Island, Neb., and Mrs. Lurline Collins of Troutdale, Ore., beside a number of other relatives.
