Resident of Sunny
Slope Called By
Death, Feb. 13


     Gail Belmont Jacquith, 62, prominent orchardist and old-time resident of the Sunny Slope community, died yesterday afternoon at his home.  He was born in Hartford, S. Dak., November 18, 1882.
     He is survived by his wife Myrtle Jacquith; four sons, Fred of Caldwell, Frank of Wilder, and Dr. George Jacquith, a marine, somewhere in the South Pacific; a granddaughter, Patricia Ann; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Armstrong, Yakima, Wash., and Mrs. Helen Snow of Sacrament, Calif.; and Claire Jacquith of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother Russell Jacquith of Long Beach.
     Funeral arrangements are made for Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 2:00 at Peckham's Chapel, with Dr. H. H. Hayman officiating.  Interment will be in Canyon hill.
      The Jacquith family moved to Emmett valley in 1908 where they pioneered in the fruit business and in 1911, moved to the Sunny Slope community, where they owned a large fruit farm.
