Buried Thursday

Funeral services for
Francis Marion Stone of Wilder, who died Saturday morning at a
Caldwell hospital, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2
o'clock at the Methodist church in Wilder. Burial will
be in the Wilder cemetery.
Mr. Stone was born December 19, 1884 in Golden City, Mo. He
is survived by his widow and several children. The
family came to Wilder recently from Colorado. |

WILDER (Special) -
Funeral services for Francis Marion Stone, 50, who died
Saturday at Caldwell, will be held at the Methodist church in
Wilder Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock
Mr. Stone died following an operation after which ether pneumonia
developed. The death is especially sad as Mr. Stone and
his family had arrived on January 23, only two and a half
weeks before to take possission of the Cal Ross farm in Fargo
which they had bought.
He was born in Golden City, Mo., December 19, 1884. He made
his home in Missouri and Indiana until 1905 when he filed on a
homestead near Keysor, Colo., which was the family home until
they came here.
He was married in 1910 to Florence Addison and to them were born
one son and four daughters, all of whome with the widow,
survive. The children are Norman of Alma, Colo.;
Mrs. Grace Gordon, of Keyser, and Mrs. Trixie Miller, Mary and
Myrtle of the parental home. There are also two
grandchildren and a brother, Joseph Stone, of Colorado
Springs, Colo. |
