Flossie Atteberry

     Funeral services for Flossie Pearl Atteberry, 93, of Notus, who died Thursday, December 22, 1994, at a Caldwell care center will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, at the Notus Baptist Church.  Pastor Tim Wells will officiate.  Interment will be at Lower Boise Cemetery, near Parma, Idaho, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
     Mrs. Atteberry was born January 26, 1901, at Asherville, Kansas, a daughter of James and Viola Conklin Mauk, the eldest of eleven children.  She moved with her parents to Edmond, Kansas where she met and married Alfred Atteberry on November 20, 1916.  To this union four children were born.  They came to Idaho in 1919 and settled in the Notus area Mr. Atteberry died March 17, 1982.
     She is survived by two daughters Geraldine Northrop of Caldwell and Darlene Turpin and her husband Glen of Tacoma, Washington; two sisters Jessie Harnden of Prineville, Oregon and Lucille Kelsey in Colorado; four grandchildren Victoria Bates of Notus, Tammy and Donald Turpin of Tacoma, Washington, Ruth Barkley of Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada; and a beloved son-in-law Stanley Bates.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 66 years, an infant son, a daughter Carol Bates, six sisters, two brothers and a grandson.
     The family suggests that memorials be given to the Notus Baptist Church.
     Friends may call Monday from 1 until 5 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel Caldwell.
