Local Resident Dies Following Long Illness |

F. Harry Keller, 52, of 222 Cleveland Blvd., and a lifetime resident of Caldwell, died in a Boise hospital Monday evening at 9 o'clock following a lingering illness. Funeral services are tentatively arranged for Wednesday at the Peckham chapel, Dr. H. H. Hayman of the College of Idaho will officiate and interment will be in Canyon Hill cemetery. Born in Caldwell Oct. 4, 1891, Keller was the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Keller, who figured prominently in Caldwell's early history. He attended local public schools and has been employed at various times by the Doan Merc. Co., the Caldwell Flour Mill and the Paul Roberts Motor Co., when they were in business here. He was married to Margaret Clevenger of Caldwell March 24, 1920. During World War I, Keller served with the coast artillery. He was a member of the Loren M. Trotter Post No. 35 of the American Legion and Caldwell Elks Lodge No. 1448. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Keller of Caldwell; a son, Lt. F. Harry Keller, Jr., now stationed at a marine base in Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Jean Keller of Caldwell; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Eustace of Vallejo, Cal., and Mrs. Lucille Sower of Caldwell, and a brother, James Keller of New Meadows. |
