Frank Manning, 20, Passes
in Oregon After Lingering Illness

Frank Manning died in
Oregon Tuesday morning, according to a telegram received here
from his father, Morris Manning at Beaverton, Oregon.
The body will arrive in Caldwell Friday morning from Portland.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3
o'clock at the grave in Canyon Hill cemetery. He will be
buried beside his mother.
Cause of death is not known here although the youth,
who was about 20 years of age is known to have been in ill
health for a number of years.
The Manning family is quite widely known among older
residents of Caldwell. Mr. Manning was engaged in the
drayage and, later, in the grocery business in this city.
The family left Caldwell a number of years ago and since that
time have resided in Portland. |

Funeral services for
Frank C. Manning who died in Beaverton, Ore., June 23, were
held Friday afternoon at the grave. Dr. W. J. Boone was
in charge of the services. Interment was in Canyon Hill
cemetery.
Mr. Manning was the son of M. W. Manning and at the
time of his death was 19 years of age. The Mannings were
formerly residents of this city. |
