E. H. Crockett Of
Middleton Dies
Monday P. M.


     Elmer Henry Crockett, 69, a resident of Middleton for more than 40 years died Monday afternoon after a long illness.
     Born at Concordia, Kas., May 15, 1873, Mr. Crockett came to Caldwell in 1892 and several years later was married to Miss Bessie Venator of Caldwell.  He was a member of the Methodist church and Odd Fellows lodge at Middleton.
     Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bessie Crockett of Middleton; three sons, Everett Crockett of Homedale; Herbert and Ben Crockett both of Caldwell; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Bixby and Mrs. Eunice McIntyre both of Middleton; five brothers, Frank, Charley, Walter and Arthur Crockett, all of Middleton and Chester Crockett of Long Beach, Cal.; two grandchildren.
     Services will be held at the Methodist church in Middleton, Thursday at 2:30 p.m.  The Rev. C. A. Quinn of Middleton will officiate, and burial will be in the Middleton cemetery.
