Eva G. Cawdery

     Services for Mrs. Eva Gean Cawdery, 64, of Wilder, who died Saturday in a local hospital, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Summers Chapel, Boise.  The Rev A. D. Hurt, of the Boise Gospel Tabernacle and the Rev. Paul Nickens of Parma, will officiate.  Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wilder cemetery.
     Mrs. Cawdery was born Sept. 23, 1901, at Dayton, Utah, and attended college at Logan, Utah, for three years.  She also worked for the U.S. Public Health Service in West Virginia.  In 1935, she moved to Caldwell, where she was married that year to Fred Cawdery.  She was Canyon County and school nurse at Caldwell before working in the mission field in Palestine in 1947 and 1948.  She then returned to Wilder.  In 1956-56 she was director of nursing at a hospital in Hepner, Ore.  Mr. Cawdery preceded her in death in 1958.  Mrs. Cawdery was later in charge of a hospital in Willits, Calif., and had worked in hospitals in Nampa, Boise and Caldwell.  She had made her home in Wilder since 1935, with brief periods in other areas.
     She was a member of the Idaho State Nurses Association.
     Among her survivors are a son, Gerald Cawdery, Eugene, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Grace Roper, Nampa; two brothers, Glenn Murdock, Harper, Ore., and Ted Murdock, Dayton, Utah, and five grandchildren.
     Pallbearers will be Bob Breshears, Clyde Balding,
Elbert Fretwell, Art Sperry, Bill Paulsen and Clifford Lundquist.  Honorary pallbearers include Fred Prince, Bernard Smith, Ben Ward, H. J. Shields, Dr. Lyle Stones and Jim Chapman.
