Passes Away


     E. B. Field of Riverside passed away last night at his home.  He was born April 11, 1865 at City Point, Va.  No plans for the funeral services have been announced.

Funeral Services
Held Tuesday for
Edgar B. Fields


     Funeral services for Edgar Besley Fields, 78, who died at his home Friday night on Rt. 4, Caldwell, were held at Peckham's chapel Tuesday at 2:30 p. m.  Rev. Wm. Hart and Rev. Cravens were in charge.  Burial was in the Wilder cemetery.
     He was born at City Point, Va., April 11, 1865, and lived in Iowa.  He resided in the vicinity of Caldwell for the last 17 years.
     Survivors include his wife, Ruth; three sons Harold field and lloyd Field of Caldwell, and Walter Field of Lewiston; two daughters, Mrs. Fern Gooder of Wilder and Mrs. Maud Stillwell of California; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Root of California; two brothers, Logan Field of Central Cove and Ralph Field of Oakland; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
