Funeral services for Earl Almer Summy, 63, of Parma will be held at 2:30 p. m. Monday at the Parma Community church with Rev. M. H. Greenlee officiating. Summy died yesterday at his home near Parma. Summy had lived in this vicinity since 1922. He was born Nov. 17, 1880 at Nora, Ill. At the age of 14 he left Illinois and lived in Everly, Iowa, until 1913 when he married Ethel L. Cocking and the young couple moved to Ponteix, Canada. He leaves his wife, two sons, Ralph E. Summy of Tuscon, Ariz., and Divid Ross Summy of Tuscon, Ariz., and David Ross Summy of Parma, two sisters, Mrs. Cora Putman of Hartley, Iowa, and Mrs. Estell Magee of Pringhar, Iowa, and three brothers, Dr. C. E. Summy of Gerber, Cal., and C. C. Summy of Des Moines. Burial will be in the Parma cemetery. |
