Wilders Boy Dies
In Bomber Crash


     DYERSBURG, Tenn. (AP) - Sgt. Donald A. Gooder, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs.. Allen A. Gooder of Wilder, Ida., was killed in the crash of a heavy bomber from the Dyersburg base.
     Eleven fliers were killed when two planes collided in flight, the base public relations office announced.  The accident occurred Saturday.

Soldier Coming
For Funeral Here


     Sgt. Donald Arthur Gooder of Wilder, killed in an airplane accident in Arkansas, was a member of bombardier squadron No. 502.
     He was born on Nov. 2, 1918, in Phillips county, Kas., and is survived by his father, Allen A. Gooder, and a stepmother, Fern May Gooder, of Wilder; four sisters - Vivian Bronson of Wilder, Fern and Winona Gooder of Oakland, Cal., and Mrs. Jean Chester of Atlantic City, J. J., and a brother, Allen F. Gooder of Wilder.
     The body is being shipped to the Peckham funeral parlors.  funeral services are to be announced, and interment will be in the cemetery at Wilder.
