Services for Darrel
Avel Bitner, 78, of Riverside, Calif., who died Sunday in
Riverside, will be conducted at Wilder at 2 p.m. Thursday.
The cortege will leave the Peckham-Dakan-Davis chapel at 1:30
p.m. for the interment service.
Mr. Bitner was born July 26, 1881, in Martinsburg,
Iowa. He lived in Iowa until 1908, when he moved to Salt
Lake City. He went to Blackfoot in 1909 and came to
Caldwell in 1910. He left here in 1924 and since had
lived in Riverside. A bachelor, he was a retired
carpenter.
He is survived by a brother, Homer H. Bitner of Santa
Maria, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Zelpha Fern Crim of
Riverside. |
