Roswell Man Is
     Buried Monday

   California, Laid at Rest
        Near Old Home

     Funeral services for Clifford Paine, 36, formerly a resident of the Roswell community, who passed away November 4 at his home in California, were held Monday afternoon at the Presbyterian church at Roswell with the Rev. H. H. Hayman of the College of Idaho officiating.  Interment was in the Roswell cemetery.
     Mr. Paine spent his early childhood as well as a number of the later years of his life in Roswell.  He is survived by his widow and son of California, and his mother, Mrs. Benjamin Paine of Roswell.

Several Sorrowing Relatives
       in Wilder Community

     WILDER  (Special) - A number from this community attended the funeral services Monday afternoon in Roswell for Clifford Paine whose death occurred suddenly Thursday at his home in California.  Mr. Paine was a brother of Mrs. ? A. Patterson and a nephew of G. E. Paine, both of Wilder.  He grew to manhood in Roswell.  His wife, before her marriage was Miss Helen Hawkins who for several years made her home with her parents near Wilder.  He is also survived by a two-year old son.
