Services for Charles
Stillwell, 84, who died in Portland, Ore., Tuesday at the home
of a daughter, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Peckham-Dakan-Davis
Chapel. The Rev Eldon Shields of the Caldwell First
Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Interment will be
in Canyon Hill.
Mr. Stillwell was born in Hartsville, Mo., Aug. 32,
1876, and came to Richfield, Idaho, in 1915. He moved to
Caldwell in 1920 where he had been employed by the State
Highway Board and had farmed. He married Polly Hedley in
Missouri on March 9, 1913.
Survivors include two daughter, Mrs. Betty Jo
Livingston, Portland, Mrs. Maggie Richardson, Wenatchee,
Wash.; one son, Sam Stillwell, Boise; one sister Ollie Jane
McCarthy, Santa Rosa, Calif., and nine grandchildren. |
