Charles L. Kelso
Succumbs At
Home Sunday


     Charles Lesley Kelso, 65, Caldwell route three, died at the family home last Sunday night after an illness of several months.
     Born in Missouri, May 30, 1876, he resided at Ontario, Ore., for several years before coming to Caldwell in 1926.  He was a member of the Caldwell Baptist church.
     Survivors are his wife, Nina Kelso of Caldwell;  three sons, Wilbert W. Kelso of Wilder;  Orval Kelso of Boise and Milo Kelso of Caldwell;  three daughters, Mrs. Robert Rude of Tennessee, Mrs. Lee Shaver of Seattle and Miss Ethel Kelso of Caldwell.  a brother, Clause Kelso of Los Angeles;  two sisters, Mrs. Della Arnold of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Mrs. May Jenkins of Los Angeles;  four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
     Services will be held at the Peckham chapel Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.  The Rev. E. W. Stuchbery will officiate and burial will be in Canyon Hill cemetery.
