Chester C. Holton |
Services are pending
at Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel for Chester C. Holton, 49, a
former Caldwell and Wilder resident who was killed in a
construction accident at Oak Ridge, Ore., Friday.
Mr. Holton was born June 26, 1910 at Gate, Okla.
In 1922 the family move to Oregon and from there he came to
Wilder. He moved to Kansas in 1924. After his
marriage to Margaret McLaren he moved back to Idaho, and lived
in California and Oregon until the time of his death, where he
was engaged in construction work.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Holton, of
Oak Ridge, two sons, William Holton of Los Angeles, and Leland
Holton of Kansas; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Elbert, Yakima,
Wash., and Mrs. Patricia Bonde, Burbank, Calif.; three
brothers, John and Myron Holton, Greenleaf, and Eldon Holton,
San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Secrist, in
Oklahoma, and Mrs. Ada Gidley, Caldwell, and five
grandchildren. |
