Berthanne Bittick, 70, of Nampa, died Thursday, March 7, 1996, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, March 11, 1996, at the Nampa Third Ward, Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints, 504 11th ST. North, Nampa, with Bishop Keith C. Fletcher, Jr. conducting. Burial will follow at the Lower Boise Cemetery near Parma.
Berthanne was born September 13, 1925, at Marriott, Utah, the daughter of Elmer and Bertha Campbell. As a young girl she moved with her family to Lago, Idaho. Then they moved to Nampa, then Caldwell and later to Apple Valley where she attended Parma schools.
She married Everet Bittick, October 28, 1941, at Happy Valley near Nampa. They lived the rest of their lives in the Nampa-Caldwll area.
Berthanne "Bertie" was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ O Latter-day Saints. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed doing everything with her family... hunting, fishing, sports, music and especially big family parties. She was a professional cook for 30 years and was delighted when she had the opportunity to share her knowledge with someone.
Surviving are her children, John Bittick and wife Lois, Carol Davies and husband Don and Mark Bittick, all of Nampa, Nancy Uralde and husband Joe of Caldwell, and Dan Bittick and wife Velma of Soldotna, Alaska; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, Marley and Bernita Campbell of Idaho Falls, William and Lorraine Campbell of Boise, Scott V. and Jackie Campbell of Pomona, California, and Dale and Helen Patient of Prairie City, Oregon; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Reba Black of Salt Lake City and Fauntella and Glen Hill of Santa Rosa, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 5 sisters, her husband Everet Bittick, and 4 grandchildren.
Friends may call at Dakan Funeral Chapel. Caldwell on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. The family will receive friends in the Relief Society Room on Monday from 2 to 2:435 p.m. prior to services.
