Mrs. Anna S. Jones
Dies At Home Here
Sunday Morning


    Mrs. Anna Susan Ambler Jones, 88, a resident of Caldwell for 19 years, died at her home, 1817 Dearborn street, Sunday morning.
     Born at Chester, Conn., Feb. 18, 1854, Mrs. Jones came from Clinton, Conn., to Caldwell in 1923.  Her husband was a sea captain and Mrs. Jones accompanied him on Many Thrilling voyages.  She was a member of the Clinton Methodist church and for many years has taken an active part in temperance work and service societies and was specially interested in the Daughters of the American Revolution and Colonial Dames organizations.
     Survivors include one son, Howard E. A. Jones of Kansas City, Mo., principal of the Pembroke country private day school for boys, and a former principal of Caldwell
