Largely Attended
Funeral Services
For Mrs. Isaac
_____ |
Caldwell, Sept. 30. --
One of the largest funerals ever held in Caldwell was that of
Mrs. Ada Isaac, which occurred here at 2 p.m. today at the
Presbyterian church. People of all denominations and classes
came out in a way to show clearly the high esteem in which
Mrs. Isaac was held.
Among those present from out of town were Mr. Charles
Isaac and Mrs. LaDow, brother and sister of Mr. Isaac, from
Pendleton, Or. The Odd Fellows, of which fraternity Mr. Isaac
is a member, met at their hall and attended the services in a
body.
Rev. W. J. Boone preached the funeral sermon, during which he
paid an eloquent tribute to the beautiful character of the
deceased.
The pall bearers were Mayor Egleston, J. K. Little, W. H.
Redway, J. T. Morrison, J. H. Gwinn, and Jake Horn. The
interment took place in Canyon Hill cemetery. |
