Mrs. E. L. Mattingly Dies at
Home Saturday After
Brief Illness

Mrs. E. L. Mattingly, a
resident of the Wilder district since 190?, who passed away at her
home Saturday morning, was laid at rest Monday afternoon.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Episcopal
church of Wilder with the Rev. C. M. Davidson officiating.
Interment was in the Canyon Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Mattingly was born in Ohio. She was married
to E. L. Mattingly in September, 1887, in Fairfield, Iowa; At
the time of her death she was 68 years of age. Death followed
an illness of about two weeks.
Surviving her are her husband, two sons, Jesse
Mattingly of Wilder; and M. F. Mattingly of King City, California;
one daughter, Mrs. Doris Frank of Wilder; seven grandchildren; two
brothers and one sister living in Iowa.
