W. C. Ferguson

    Graveside services for W.C. "Bill" Ferguson, 86, of 5305 Airport Road, Nampa, who died Tuesday, June 7, at a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Roswell Cemetery, Roswell, by George M. Sargent, assisted by Sam Smith, both of the Nampa Jehovah's Witnesses.
    He was born May 15, 1897, in the Indian Territory of Oklahoma and was reared and attended school there.  He married Maude Belle McConnaughy April 8, 1933, at Eldorado, Kan., and they lived and farmed in Kansas and Missouri before moving to Idaho in 1939.  They farmed in the Treasure Valley until 1957 and he then worked for the J.R. Simplot Co. in Caldwell until retiring in 1961.  They moved to Nampa in 1971.  He was a Jehovah's Witness.
    he is survived by his wife of Nampa; two sons, Clarence Ferguson, Caldwell, and Bill Ferguson, Homedale; one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Troughton, Nampa; two sisters, Mary Stephenson, Hemmett, Calif., and Susie Rich, Newton, Kan.; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
    Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa until 9 tonight and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday and may meet at the cemetery for services.
