Walter E. Butler

       Walter E. Butler, 50, of Middleton, died Sunday in an Everett, Wash., hospital after an extended illness.
       Mr. Butler was born Jan. 31, 1913, in Grow, Okla., and moved with his parents to Colorado when he was six months of age.
       He married Hazel R. Wilkes in Colorado and they lived there until 1940.  They moved to Middleton in 1950.
       He had worked for the Puget Sound Bridge and Dry Dock Company of Seattle for the past one and a half years.
       He is survived , in addition to his wife, by two sons, Leslie E., Everett, Wash., and Thomas W., Imperial Beach, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Doris English, Middleton; his mother, Mrs. Belle Butler, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Jesse, in Colorado; six sisters, Mrs. Liley Fisher in Iowa., Mrs. Mary Lindsey and Mrs. Jewell Sharp, both in Washington, Mrs. Sadie Wilson and Mrs. Dora Wilson, both on Colorado, and Mrs. Ethel Kennedy in Kansas, and eight grandchildren.
       The Flahiff Chapel will arrange services.
