Ruth E. McCoy

     CALDWELL - Graveside services for Ruth E. McCoy, 83, of 1611 Everett, who died Tuesday in a Caldwell nursing home, were held this morning at Canyon hill Cemetery.  Officiating was the Rev. Irving Frank of Caldwell.  Arrangements were handled by Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
     She was born Sept. 30, 1889 in Rock Rapids, Iowa.  She married William Orlin McCoy Oct. 5, 1915 in Rupert and they lived in Nampa and Wilder for several years before moving to Notus in the 1930s.  Mr.  McCoy died in 1963 at Caldwell, and she had lived with her daughter since that time.  She had attended the Notus Baptist church.
     Survivors are a son, Elmer McCoy of Toppenish, Wash.; a daughter, Merle Stuart of Caldwell; two sisters, Maude Brock of Rupert, and Dorothea White of Lebanon, Ore.; and six grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a sister.
