Robert Paul "Bob" Seitz, 58, of
Meridian, died Thursday, Dec. 10, at his home of natural
causes. Rosary will be recited at 8:30
p.m. tonight at the Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian. Mass
will be celebrated at 10:30- a.m., Monday, Dec. 14, at Our
Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Boise.
Mr. Seitz was born Oct. 9, 1929, at Hays City, Kan., the fifth
of seven children of Sophie and Casper Paul Seitz. He
moved to Boise with his family in 1939 and attended St.
Joseph's School and St. Teresa's Academy.
He joined the Air National Guard in 1946. Upon his
retirement from the Guard in October of 1984, he was awarded
the Distinguished Service Award. With
his wife, he was a member of the 10-Mile Riding Club; past
co-leader of the Chico Diablos 4-H Club; and past member of
several dance clubs. Survivors include
his wife, Alta; a son, Robert Paul Jr. of California; three
daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary Kay and Jeff Tunison of
Boise, Beth Ann and Curt Krantz of Parma, and Christine Seitz
of Boise; three stepsons, John Hoffman of San Diego, Calif.,
Frederick W. Hoffman of Boise, Kenneth O. Hoffman of Boise; a
stepdaughter, Sharlene Hoffman of Boise; two brothers, Tony of
Arizona and Bernard of New Mexico; three sisters, Mary
Jaurequi of Colorado, Kathryn Beumeler of Middleton, and Agnes
Raynor of Seattle, Wash.; two step-grandchildren; and numerous
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by his parents and a brother, John. |
