NAMPA - Requiem Mass will be recited at 10 a.m. Wednesday at
St. Paul's Catholic Church in Nampa for Mrs. Rosa K. Lopez,
72, of 115 First St. N. Ext., who died Saturday in a Nampa
hospital. The Rev. Fr. Robert G. Haggett, S.M., will be
the celebrant.
Mrs. Lopez was born March 14, 1895, at Penasco, N.M.
She was reared in New Mexico and married John Lopez there in
1910. They moved to Torrington, Wyo., and lived there
many years. He died in 1942. She moved to Nampa in
1950 to be near her children.
She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Carmen Martinez of
Boise, Mrs. Martha Martinez of Jerome, Mrs. Helen Antunes and
Mrs. Dorothy Gonzales of Nampa, Mrs. Lois Godinez of Redmond,
Ore., Mrs. Lula Silva of Casper, Wyo., and Mrs. Lillian Larez
of Denver, Colo.; three sons, Alfred and Jake Lopez of
Rockford, Ill.; four brothers and two sisters; 39
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. One brother
preceded her in death.
Rosary devotions will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at
Shepherd Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be at Mt.
Calvary Cemetery. The funeral cortege will leave the
chapel at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday. |
