Rosary for Raymond Julius
Herman, 75, of Marsing, who died Monday, April 3, in a
Caldwell hospital, will be recited at 8 p.m. in Flahiff
Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m.
Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caldwell, with the
Rev. John Morgan of St. Mary's Catholic Church as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
Mr. Herman was born Jan. 13, 1909, in Nampa, to Julius
Albert and Catherine Motzko Herman. He was reared and
educated in Melba and attended schools there. He graduated
from the University of Portland, in Portland, Ore., in 1931.
He married Beatrice M. Marsing, Jan. 20, 1934, in
Caldwell. He worked for the Idaho Egg Producers as their
office manager for 10 years. In 1944 they moved to Marsing
where Mr. Herman entered the hardware business. He remained
active in the business until his death. He also served as a
Marsing City Councilman for four years.
He is survived by his wife of Marsing; two sons, Roy E.
Herman of Marsing and Dr. Ralph E. Herman of Sacramento,
Calif.; two grandchildren, Jennifer L. Herman of Boise and
Jeffrey Herman of Garmisch, West Germany.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell,
today from 1 to 7:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Marsing Ambulance
Association, Marsing, 83639, or to a favorite charity. |
