Paul Catti

     Rosary Devotions for Paul L. Catti, 94, of Boise and formerly of Nampa, who died May 10, at a Boise nursing home will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa, by Father Merle Fisher.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
     Mr. Catti was born Dec. 24, 1890 at Carrara, Italy and came to the United States at the age of sixteen.  He moved to Nampa in 1920 and worked as an independent contractor in association with the Morrison-Knudsen Company.  Just prior to his retirement, he had worked for the Nampa Highway Department.  He married Pauline Corda on Feb. 25, 1924 in Nampa.  She died in 1957 until returning to Boise in 1979.
     He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa and a former member of the Knights of Columbus and the Nampa Eagles Lodge.
     Surviving him are a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Elizabeth Catti, Boise; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Russell Stechschulte, San Fransisco, Calif.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers and sisters.
