Bennett, 84, of Adrian, Oregon died on Saturday, Dec. 4, 1993
at Holly Rosary Medical Center in Ontario, Oregon.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1993
at the Nyssa Lienkaemper Chapel with reverend John Pickrill
officiating. Private Family burial will take place at
the Roswell Cemetery in Roswell, Idaho.
Leroy was born on Jan. 17, 1909, the son of Abraham and Mabel
Carter Bennett in Tremonton, Utah. He moved with his
family to Mountain Home Idaho in 1915 where he lived in a
homestead outside Mountain Home. He moved to Roswell,
Idaho in 1921 an then married Esther Hart on Nov. 10, 1934 in
Roswell. They moved to the Big Bend area in 1938 and he
continued to live there until his death. Leroy and
Esther just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1984.
Leroy loved to go hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Esther of Adrian; 2 sons, Dwayne
Bennett and Alan Bennett of Adrian; 1 sister, May Church of
Sacramento, CA; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Kingman Memorial Presbyterian Church
or Parma Senior Citizens, c/o Lienkaemper Chapel, P.O. Box
970, Ontario, Oregon 97914. |
