NAMPA - Mass of the
Resurrection for J. Alvin Muldoon, 72, 1216 Seventh St. S.,
Nampa, who died Monday at a Nampa hospital will be celebrated
at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Catholic church by Rev.
Ralph Muldoon, pastor of St. John's Catholic Church, New
Underwood, S.D. rosary will be recited at 8 tonight at
the Flahiff Funeral chapel in Nampa. Interment will be
at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Muldoon was born Feb. 18, 1904, at Dolton, S.D.
He was reared and educated at Presho, S.D. He married
Mary Margaret Murphy Nov. 4, 1930, at Kennebeck, S. D.
They made their home and farmed at Presho until moving to
Idaho in 1934. they farmed near Marsing until retiring
in 1961, when they moved to Nampa.
he was a member of St. paul's Catholic church.
Surviving are his wife, Nampa; one son, Patrick W.,
Tuscon, Ariz.; two daughters, Pamela Schmidt, Boise, and Faith
Ann Strouth, Walla Walla, Wash.; three brothers, Henry, Rapid
city, S.D., Joseph of Reliance, S.D., and Fr. Ralph, New
Underwood, S.D.; ;three sisters, Esther Harder and Dorothy
Kineen, both of Rapid City, S.D., and sister Ambrose Muldoon,
Aberdeen, S.D.; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews. His parents, one sister, two brothers and one
grandchild preceded him in death. |
