Joseph C. Fattig

    CALDWELL - Joseph C. Fattig, 66, of 420 16th Ave. No., Nampa, died Saturday at a Boise hospital.
    He was born April 5, 1905, in Ringgold County, Iowa.  He moved to Middleton in 1931 and married Roma Robinson in 1932.  He served in the U.S. Navy for seven years.  He worked as a deputy sheriff in Canyon County from 1941 to 1959, in Snyder, Texas.  They lived in Snyder and moved to Las Vegas in 1964, moved to Reno in 1966, and returned to Nampa in 1968.  He was a member of the Baptist Church.
    Survivors include his wife, Lena, of Nampa; three daughters, Mrs. Lena Black, Las Vegas, Rita Kaufman, Reno, and Joy Cronk, Caldwell, and 12 grandchildren.  A brother, Orville Fattig, preceded him in death.
